The groundbreaking industry-first technology, 4-2-1 Performance Tuned Exhaust, provides incomparable torque throughout the RPM range. The higher torque you have the better hole shot, which translates to faster speeds. Higher torque also means less drag, which in turn means more boating options; it could be applied to any type of boat. From light to heavy, pleasure or commercial boats. The synergy between the 4-2-1 Performance Tuned Exhaust and our fine-tuned ECU programming, MFS115 provides a strong acceleration when needed in order to get the boat on plane quicker and allowing you to reach the top end speed faster. Equipped with standard features such as Variable Idle System allowing you to change the idle speed from 650 to 850 RPMs, a low gear ratio (2.08:1) giving you the increased low end torque your boat needs, a fresh-water Flushing System designed to make routine flushing easier, and a High Output 41 amp Alternator, the MFS115 provides the industry leading features you expect from Tohatsu.

The 200 hp powerful four stroke, the BFT200D, brings a large displacement 3.6 liter V6. This narrow V6 design offers top performance and durability, as well as great fuel economy. The high output alternator provides a 90 amp alternator with 60 charging amps. The new BFT200D provides a broader torque range and smoother power throughout the engine’s operating range. With an innovated exterior, the improvement of corrosion resistance and water intrusion makes BFT200D the right choice.

This portable best-seller has been upgraded with newly designed top and bottom cowl based on the Tohatsu Design Philosophy for Marine Products using Simpliq™ Technology with ergonomically designed front and back carrying handles. That’s why we have taken our 15 hp model and made it better by introducing our MFS15hp Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) which is the lightest 4-stroke battery-less EFI 15hp model in the industry! You can enjoy added features such as a higher power-to-weight ratio, which is the most important factor for small horsepower outboards. We also succeeded in drastically reducing sound level and vibration on our new 15hp EFI outboard. One major advantage of the EFI system is a quick startup with no choke needed and provides crisp acceleration throughout all RPM ranges as well as a significantly increased fuel efficiency at wide open throttle.
