That’s why we have taken our 15 hp model and made it better by introducing our MFS15hp Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) which is the lightest 4-stroke battery-less EFI 15hp model in the industry! You can enjoy added features such as a higher power-to-weight ratio, which is the most important factor for small horsepower outboards. We also succeeded in drastically reducing sound level and vibration on our new 15hp EFI outboard. One major advantage of the EFI system is a quick startup with no choke needed and provides crisp acceleration throughout all RPM ranges as well as a significantly increased fuel efficiency at wide open throttle. Go ahead; put the engine to the test! You won’t regret it! Power Tilt! We’ve added Power Tilt to our remote steering/throttle models to provide you even greater operating convenience. This engine offers the same features as our standard 15hp EFI model plus an added power tilt feature for greater operating convenience. The battery-less EFI system on the MFS9.9 offers superior starting performance as compared to previous carbureted models. Also, with an EFI outboard, no choke is required during start up and you’ll notice smooth, crisp acceleration throughout all RPM ranges. We set out to completely redesign an already top performing motor, and well exceeded that goal. Tohatsu’s new 9.9 EFI Sport accepts top honors for top speed, fuel consumption at idle and most importantly fuel efficiency at wide open throttle. The 200 hp powerful four stroke, the BFT200D, brings a large displacement 3.6 liter V6. This narrow V6 design offers top performance and durability, as well as great fuel economy. The high output alternator provides a 90 amp alternator with 60 charging amps. The new BFT200D provides a broader torque range and smoother power throughout the engine’s operating range. With an innovated exterior, the improvement of corrosion resistance and water intrusion makes BFT200D the right choice.

The MFS115 design is built on our best-selling models the MFS40/50/60 and the MFS9.9/15/20. The legacy of our top performing and most reliable engines has been passed on, with a dynamic design and sophisticated details, to our all new MFS115 4-stroke outboard with industry-first innovative feature and characteristics. The groundbreaking industry-first technology, 4-2-1 Performance Tuned Exhaust, provides incomparable torque throughout the RPM range. The higher torque you have the better hole shot, which translates to faster speeds. Higher torque also means less drag, which in turn means more boating options; it could be applied to any type of boat. From light to heavy, pleasure or commercial boats.
